Learn what it means to say yes to God.
Whatever has brought you to this page is not by accident or chance. God is drawing you to Himself. You may be discouraged or delighted, angry or ambivalent … wherever you are at this moment in your life … know that God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Recognize your need … admit that you are not perfect … a sinner.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus…” Romans 3:23-24
Remember God loves you … in your sinful state and showed it through the person of Jesus Christ, His son.
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Repent of your sins … turn toward Christ by asking the Lord to forgive your sin.
“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord…” Acts 3:19
Receive Jesus as Savior … Don’t try to “clean up your life” before you come to God. Instead, receive Him and allow Him to do the “cleansing.”
“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
Respond with Eagerness … just talk to Him in your own words. Thank Him for His love, His sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for your sins. Ask for His forgiveness, placing your trust in His promise to forgive, and for His guidance in your new relationship with Him!
